أعلن الدكتور جمال تاج رئيس جامعة أسيوط الجديدة التكنولوجية عن مشاركة الجامعة في "منصة الدورات المفتوحة واسعة النطاق (MOOC) الصينية–الأفريقية"، التي أُطلقت بالتعاون مع منظمة اليونسكو، وذلك في إطار تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي بين الجامعة والجانب الصيني.
وتهدف هذه المنصة إلى مشاركة موارد تعليمية عالية الجودة مع الطلاب والمعلمين في جميع أنحاء أفريقيا، وإنشاء منصة دولية لتبادل المعرفة تعود بالنفع على الدول الأفريقية.
وأكد رئيس الجامعة أن هذه الخطوة تأتي انسجامًا مع رؤية الجامعة في دعم التعليم الرقمي وتوسيع نطاق الاستفادة من الموارد التعليمية عالية الجودة، مشيرًا إلى أن الجامعة ستسهم بمقررات دراسية مصورة عبر الفيديو، بما يتيح للطلاب والمعلمين في مختلف الدول الأفريقية الاطلاع على خبرات الجامعة الأكاديمية والاستفادة من مواردها التعليمية.
وأضاف أن المشاركة في هذه المنصة الدولية تمثل فرصة مهمة لتبادل المعرفة والخبرات، وتدعم مكانة الجامعة كصرح أكاديمي يسعى إلى الانفتاح على العالم، وتعزيز دوره في خدمة المجتمع الأفريقي والدولي من خلال التعليم المبتكر والتعاون الدولي.

Dr. Gamal Tag, President of New Assiut Technological University, announced the university’s participation in the “Chinese–African Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) Platform,” which was launched in cooperation with UNESCO, as part of strengthening academic cooperation between the university and the Chinese side.
This platform aims to share high-quality educational resources with students and teachers across Africa, and to establish an international platform for knowledge exchange that benefits African countries.
The President of the University affirmed that this step comes in line with the university’s vision to support digital education and expand access to high-quality educational resources, noting that the university will contribute video-recorded courses, enabling students and teachers in various African countries to benefit from the university’s academic expertise and educational resources.
He added that participation in this international platform represents an important opportunity for knowledge and experience exchange, and supports the university’s position as an academic institution seeking openness to the world, while enhancing its role in serving the African and international community through innovative education and international cooperation.
